The Guardian’s new ad for open Journalism: Three Little Pigs by BBH.
In a flipped version of the classic fairytale, the Guardian has taken a different perspective on the once innocent story that everybody knows.
By incorporating reminders of recent news events including the London Riots and the economic crisis, they’ve created a wider story surrounding why the wolf was indeed blowing down their houses.
They’ve managed to pump the message that they place great importance on open journalism and that, like the three pigs, they will not go down without a fight. Through beautiful visual effects, they’ve also managed to incorporate the importance that open journalism has on worldwide culture, specifically digital. Also notice that they haven’t forgotten to place all of the Guardian’s different media outlets throughout, including Print, Mobile, iPad and PC ;)
A really fun way to put across a message, with a dark twist on a familiar fairytale. Kudos!
Yahoo! visualises the real time data they are collecting, and analyses them with the powerful engine called Content Optimization and Relevance Engine (C.0.R.E.) via the TODAY ON YAHOO! website. It is so impressive! Turning all the mass and cold real time data into visualised and classified ones.
